The Team
Jenni Crawford
Creative Director
Jenni has experienced so much in the world of hairdressing, she is easily one of the leading figures in this country and respected for her achievements and skills. Like all of us, Jenny started on the salon floor working her way up to working on Fashion programs, magazines, and platform shows. She is an in-salon educator and also educator for L’Oreal Professionnel, Wella and Schwarzkopf. Her many achievements include winning the L’Oreal Professionnel Colour Trophy no fewer than 3 times and being crowned Irish Hairdresser of the Year. Jenni has the same passion and love for this craft that she had on day one of her career. When Jenni teaches, she likes to tailor workshops to suit the individual or salon and likes to show you ways to become more creative and get your mind thinking outside the box to enhance what you already have.
Ronan
Head of Education
Ronan is a former creative director with Vidal Sassoon and has been recruited by Kazumi to lead the cutting courses in our Academy. Ronan has travelled and instructed hairdressers throughout the world. He has also performed at London and New York fashion weeks. His photographic portfolio is extensive and he is a leader in creating the up and coming new season trends. He has been passing on his knowledge and been at the forefront of the hairdressing industry for over 15 years. His passion for hair and pushing its boundaries is second to none.
Patrick Mooney
Patrick comes to us as an in-house educator from one of the biggest hair companies. Patrick’s knowledge of the Science of Colour is second to none. He is one of the privileged few who has achieved Masters Degree in Colour. Patrick has over 15 years experience within the industry and is a real Master of Colour. His whole approach to education and the way in which he motivates and inspires his students is second to none. You will come away from Patrick’s courses with a real desire, passion and thirst for more.
Jacqui Fay
Jacqui is a Kazumi inhouse educator. Her work is regularly seen in Ireland’s top glossy magazines and Sunday papers. Jacqui works tirelessly in the search for perfection and pushing the standards within the industry higher. She is very well respected and is a judge at some of Irelands major events. She also is very much in demand with Ireland’s A list celebrities and by our television networks.
Sean Dowd
Sean is our Head of Colour department. He is also a key member of our show team, creating wonderful colours for our seasonal collections. He was also a key member of the L’Oreal Professionnel 100th Anniversary team. Sean started his career with one of the country’s biggest brands and worked his way up the ladder, before gaining international experience. He holds all colour qualifications including the much sought after Colour Degree. Being a previous winner of the prestious L’Oreal Professionnel Colour Trophy is also another strong string to his bow.
Emma Kennedy
Emma is another of our very strong colour technicians and Kazumi trainers. Her career and achievements so far are a proud addition to anyone’s CV. From the L’Oreal Professionnel Colour Trophy both Men’s and Women’s sections, averts for Guinness and also been on location for most of the countries and location shoots for top glossy magazines. She also holds the coveted Colour Degree as-well as all colour keys and was a praised member of the Kazumi team that did the L’Oreal Professionnel 100th Anniversary show. 03
